-Martel on who came up with the "Model" gimmick: "Turning heel was my idea, but the idea of becoming "The Model" was Vince McMahon's idea... It could have been worse, I could have had a gimmick like a rooster or something."
-Martel on turning a popular babyface heel: "The more popular you are, the more people are going to hate you. If you are successful on either side, you are going to be successful, but you have to have a knack for it."
