Why is Laura Ingraham being cancelled? Fox host subject to 'day of reckoning'

The question of whether or not Laura Ingraham is ‘cancelled’ resurfaces in light of recent false rumors she is leaving Fox News.

A major shakeup to the Fox News lineup is in order this spring. Last month saw one of the network’s leading hosts, Tucker Carlson, exit, as well as a number of other regulars such as Dan Bongino. But now, there are some viewers wondering what the future holds for Laura Ingraham, as reports emerge that she is also leaving Fox.

Fox News confirm Laura Ingraham is not leaving the network

This May, rumors emerged that Laura Ingraham would be leaving her role as a regular host on the Fox News network. This has since been disproved.

“Reports based on various tweets by left wing activists are wildly inaccurate,” a spokesperson from the network explained. “Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the Fox News lineup.”

It has been reported that this rumor was sparked by the Drudge Report’s latest headlines. Drudge Report is a US news and politics site overseen by Matt Drudge.

Calls for Laura Ingraham to be ‘cancelled’ resurface

While Laura Ingraham is not actually leaving Fox News, there are some encouraging the media personality to be cancelled over a controversial years-old image.

On July 20, 2016, Ingraham was accused of doing a Nazi salute at the Republican National Convention. An image of Ingraham with her arm raised was captured at the event, however, Ingraham dismissed such accusations stating they were made by “desperate liberals.”

The image of Ingraham raising her arm at the RNC seven years ago has resurfaced as some fresher calls for the Fox News host to be removed from the air are made. This is after it came to light that she will not be leaving the network.

Even Ingraham’s older brother, Curtis, has called for Ingraham’s “day of reckoning,” retweeting an image of Laura Ingraham captured at the RNC in 2016. Curtis Ingraham has been a long-standing critic of his sister, at one point alleging that their father was a “Nazi sympathizer.”

Which Fox News regulars are still on the 2023 lineup?

As a number of the most popular Fox News hosts have left this year, you might be curious as to who is still on the network.

With Laura Ingraham confirmed as a regular on the lineup, Hannity also remains on air. Greg Gutfeld, Bret Baier, Jesse Watters, Bill Hemmer, Dana Perino, and Harris Faulkner remain key players on the 2023 lineup.

Which hosts will be on primetime remains up in the air, as Fox has yet to announce new schedule changes.
