On December 21, Javi, who goes by the username hesmyoverd0se on the platform, released a video about MrBeast.
In it, he said: “no bc the reason MrBeast gives out all his money is so wholesome.” Following this, in the comment section, he wrote: “The reason he donates his money is cause he has a kidney problem which has no cure and he knows he will die soon so he is making others happy with.”
The video was quick to appear on the ‘For You’ page of TikTok users, and in a matter of a few hours, it had over 200k views.
Due to the video, many were convinced that MrBeast gave away his money as he struggled with health issues.

No, MrBeast does not give away his money because he is struggling with a serious illness. In fact, the YouTuber does so to promote his videos.
In a video from 2018, MrBeast said: “My parents aren’t that rich… every dollar I’ve ever made came from Youtube, and Youtube just pays better than you think.” He further explained this in a video where he was giving his mother $100K.
In it, he said: “If I don’t give it to you, I don’t have a viral video.” At the same time, in another video, MrBeast sat down with Logan Paul and explained how he reinvests all the money he makes in order to ensure his next video goes viral.
