Soulja Slim used to be in headlines for songs and rap compilations. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on September 9, 1997, Soulja Slim, originally James Adarryl Tapp, was a known rapper and songwriter. Soulja is known by the name Magnolia Slim or Slim, and he used to write hip-hop and gangsta rap genres.

James is the son of James and Linda Tapp; thus, he was raised in the Magnolia Projects. James dropped out of high school before gaining a degree from Cohen Senior High School. To make a living, Soulja started selling drugs, and in turn, he got addicted to cocaine and heroin. Soulja’s talent was recognized as he was sung and rapped on the streets.

Following this, Slim began to sing at block parties and projects. Soulja’s first deal for singing came from an independent label Parkway Pumpkin. Soulja debuted in 1994 with his song Soulja Fa Lyfe, which was also under Pumpkin Parkway, run by KLC. Soulja’s first album did well amongst the audience following the success of his first song; he released four songs simultaneously.

Fast forward, Soulja gained fame for his song You Got It, and he gave himself the name Soulja. After the release of You Got It, Soulja got incarcerated for armed robbery, and he made a comeback with The Streets Made Me after three years of being incarcerated. Following his success, Soulja began Cut Throat Comitty Records, his record label.

Soulja released Years Later, one of his last albums, before dying. Some notable work of Soulja includes Give It 2’Em Raw, Years Later, and The Streets Made Me. Soulja was murdered on November 26, 2003, after he was shot by an assailant.

Talking about Soulja Slim Baby Momma, her name is revealed to Magnolia Dana. Soulja and Magnolia were in a relationship before the latter fell pregnant. Soulja and his girlfriend announced their pregnancy for their fans to know. Soulja and Magnolia met when they were 17 and 13, respectively, as he used to hang out at her house quite often. Initially, Soulja tries his shot at Magnolia, who rejects him and becomes his close buddy instead.

Magnolia describes herself as an alpha woman who is straightforward and honest. Magnolia, in an interview, stated she was one of the boys in their friend group their relationship evolved over the years. Magnolia’s mother was a teacher. Thus, she finished her education at Saint Mary.

Magnolia was raised Catholic and had to go to Catholic schools as her mother forced her to continue her studies at Catholic schools. Magnolia has always been there for Soulja, and the couple had a happy relationship. Magnolia was pregnant and gave birth to Soulja’s baby at 24. Soulja was ecstatic to know he was going to be the father of a baby boy. Magnolia and Soulja often had an on-and-off relationship, and it would get messy when either of them got into a new relationship.

They were addicted to each other and would make the other person in the relationship leave. Soulja’s son was named after him and is thus known as Lil Soulja Slim. Magnolia also revealed Soulja didn’t want people to know she was the mother of his baby, and this led to an argument which ended with Soulja deciding to walk out of the relationship. Another reason for Soulja not wanting his son to be known by people was that, at the time, he was heavy into the street.

Magnolia decided not to let Soulja take their baby anywhere as she didn’t want to risk her baby’s life. Magnolia was also into shady business as she would hide the guns of her friends involved in shady business. Magnolia admits to having no choice but to be a gangster, as even her babysitters were gangsters. From Magnolia’s interview, she appears to be a sweetheart to whom life hasn’t been kind.

Magnolia’s real first name is Dana, and she admiring states that lil Soulja is just like his father in everything he does. Magnolia was four years older than Soulja, and initially, she treated him like one of her cousins. Soulja Slim’s child doesn’t have a relationship with his paternal family, but they both are aware of each other’s existence. Slim and Ziggy were close to each other, Soulja was an awesome dad for their child, but he left them too soon. Soulja died when his child was six years old.
