He is majorly known for hosting and being the legal correspondent of the aforesaid MSNBC show, The Beat with Ari Melber. Back in 2020, it reportedly earned a nomination for Emmy Award. 

Earlier, Ari Melber served as the legal analyst for NBC News. Besides that, he hosted several other shows too, such as- The Point, The Rachel Maddow Show, The Cycle, etc. Coming back to Ari Melber’s show on MSNBC, there have been several rumors surrounding him.

The reason why Ari Melber failed to make it to his show, The Beat, on Monday was nothing but a technical difficulty. Following that, the journalist forced his colleagues to jump onto his seat to keep the show going. 

Who replaced Ari Melber? It was Nicolle Wallace who greeted everyone on that day. In case you are wondering about the replacement, Nicolle serves as the host for “Deadline: White House” on MSNBC. It airs just before The Beat. So, it seemed like Nicolle continued it.  Initially, Ari Melber told that he would be appearing on The Beat anytime, as soon as it was possible.

But, he couldn’t make it because of the ‘technical difficulty, as shared by Nicolle on the show. As the issues weren’t solved and caused a bit of drama, the new host had to keep the show going for longer hours than usual. In addition to that, it was also shared that the production team was trying badly to connect with Ari Melber. Since it’s his show, everyone, be it the audience or the crew, wanted Ari to be on it. 

Still, Nicolle Wallace did her best. She concluded the show by thanking everyone for sticking to her for those hours. She said, “Thanks to all of you at home for sticking around with me a little longer than usual on this busy news day.”

Later on, another host, Ali Velshi, took over the show. Making an appearance on The Beat, he clarified to the viewers that he was not there to make a permanent space on the show. He just filled in for Ari Melber. Talking more about the situation, Ari was having issues with his remote camera. That took enough time to get solved, and by that time, the show was already over.
