From 2000 to 2004, he served as Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. He is Member of the Board of Directors of GlaxoSmithKline plc,, Swiss Finance Council and Institute of International Finance, among others. He graduated from Universitaet Zuerich in Law in 1983. He was admitted to the bar of Canton Zurich in 1986 and to the bar of the state of New York in 1990.
