TikTok videos show Taylor Swift fans' deafening 'Olé, Olé, Olé' chant in Argentina

Taylor Swift’s reaction to a football chant by her Argentinian fans has gone viral online, as boyfriend Travis Kelce even joined in.

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift and football might have seemed an unlikely pair. Now, it’s a completely different story.

Videos posted online from Taylor Swift’s fans during her shows in Argentina earlier this month show her amazed reaction to a famous football chant customized for the singer. It seemed Swift wasn’t the only one pleased with the song, as her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce, an American Football player, was filmed joining in too.

Taylor Swift fans sing ‘Olé, Olé, Olé’ during Argentina show

Posted to TikTok on November 10, the video captured the moment the entire crowd during Swift’s Buenos Aires show began to sing “Olé, Olé, Olé” during a break between songs.

The song is a football chant sung by fans, often in Spanish-speaking countries but it’s popular elsewhere too, to celebrate during soccer matches.

Swifties customized the chant to fit the show, however, changing it to: “Olé, Olé, Olé, Taylor, Taylor.”

Swift was visibly tearing up at the chant and even stood up from the piano to look out in shock, tipping her head back and laughing. “Wow,” she said. “This is so loud.”

The singer took out her earpieces to fully hear the chant, telling the coed: “I don’t know how to thank you enough for the way that you’re treating me tonight.”

Another video posted by influencer Chris Olsen showed the crowd singing the song again days later. During a speech about her six Grammy nominations this year, Swift took out her earpieces again to hear what the crowd was chanting. “I love it when you Olé, Olé, Olé,” Taylor Swift hilariously told her fans.

NFL player Kelce was in attendance at Swift’s concert in Buenos Aires on November 11 and was filmed joining in on the famous chant.

The player can be seen mouthing along to the chant from the side of the stage.

Kelce’s other shout-out that night

Swift’s shows in Buenos Aires have caught the attention of fans for other reasons too.

During her November 11 show, Swift gave a shout-out to Kelce by changing the lyrics to one of her famous tunes.

“Sweet like justice, karma is a queen. Karma takes all my friends to the summit,” she sang like normal before following it with: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
