Rev Tommie Jackson Car Accident: Sadly, Rev. Tommie Jackson, pastor of the Rehoboth Fellowship Church in Stamford, Connecticut, has gone away. After being struck on Wire Mill Road by a Stamford Police officer on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, he passed away.
His demise was made official by several posts made on social media by his family and friends. The event happened in Connecticut on Wire Mills Road around 4:12 p.m.

How Did the Accident Happen?
Officer Zachary Lockwood, 24, was operating a 2017 Interceptor Utility eastbound on Wire Mills Road when the sad incident occurred, according to Connecticut State Police.
The Wire Mill Road location had a right curve at the time of the occurrence, which might have influenced the events leading up to the collision.
Tommie Jackson, a 69-year-old pedestrian, was moving northward when he made an effort to cross the street after getting his mail from a nearby mailbox.
Officer Lockwood, upon noticing Mr. Jackson, took immediate evasive action, trying to steer away from the pedestrian by entering the westbound lane.
The Ford Police Interceptor Utility swerved onto the property of 458 Wire Mill Road after the collision. Regrettably, the collision left Mr. Jackson with fatal injuries.
