Pavel Valerievich Datsyuk, better known as Pavel Datsyuk, was born in Sverdlovsk, Russia on July 20, 1978. He is 44 years old and Russian, according to his date of birth. Furthermore, he is an Orthodox Christian Oncologist.

He is also the son of Valeri Datsyuk (father) and Galina Datsyuk (mother) (mother). He grew up with his younger sister Larisa Datsyuk. Pasha is also a nickname given to him by his parents. His mother passed away when he was 16 years old.

His professional career began with the Detroit Red Wings, coached by Igor Larionov, Sergei Fedorov and Steve Yzerman.

Since 2001, he has played for the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. (NHL). In 2017, he was the first non-NHL player to be named one of the “100 Greatest NHL Players”.

He won the Stanley Cup in 2002, 2008 and 2017 with the Red Wings. He announced his retirement from the NHL on June 18, 2016. In addition, he was the captain of the Russian national men’s ice hockey team in 2014 and 2018.

Furthermore, he joined the Golden Triple Club after winning the 2018 Olympic gold medal. He signed a two-year contract with SKA Saint Petersburg on July 8, 2016.
