Orlando Brown's wild Bow Wow claim leaves fans baffled

Orlando Brown has raised a lot of eyebrows on the internet after name-dropping Bow Wow during a recent interview, The Shade Room reports.

The 34-year-old singer, rapper and actor, who is known for his role in the sitcom That’s So Raven, made an appearance on the podcast Funny Marco on Tuesday (July 12).

Brown has kept a relatively low online profile in recent years but has become the talk of social media following the viral interview.

His name has been trending after he mentioned Bow Wow.

What did Orlando Brown say?

On Tuesday, Orlando Brown sat down with Funny Marco for an exclusive interview on the latter’s podcast.

Brown mentioned a number of A-listers, including Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon and Raven Symone, during the 25-minute interview. But one moment from the episode has captured the internet’s attention when Brown name-dropped fellow actor and rapper Bow Wow.

Funny Marco questioned Brown about the last time he’d seen the music video show 106 & Park to which Brown responded: “The last time it was hot when Bow Wow was on air.”

Funny Marco asked whether Brown had any problem with Bow Wow to which Brown replied: “I ain’t got no problem with Bow Wow. Bow Wow got a bomb a** p****.”

HITC has reached out to Orlando Brown and Bow Wow for comment.

Twitter users baffled over claim

Many fans are baffled over Brown’s claim and some took to Twitter to react with funny memes.

“I need Orlando Brown to sit down and expand on his claims,” tweeted one user.

Some users think Brown got confused

Other Twitter users pointed out Brown might have got confused and meant Lil Mama instead. For many years, fans have joked Bow Wow and Lil Mama look alike, which is why some users made the connection.

Bow Wow was a host on the show from 2012 to 2013, while Lil Mama made an appearance in a 2007 episode.

One fan tweeted: “Some one said Orlando Brown was referring to Lil Mama when he said Bow Wow and I died.”

Someone else asked: “Was Orlando Brown [trying to] crack a Lil Mama/Bow Wow joke or was he really talking about Bow Wow for real? I am [confused].”

A third fan speculated: “Maybe Orlando Brown probably meant Lil Mama?”
