Dr. Michael E. Tarnoff M.D. serves as Independent Director of the Company. Since June 2019, Dr. Tarnoff has been Chair of the Department of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Tarnoff has been a surgeon at Tufts since 2001. Dr. Tarnoff was Chief Medical Officer at Medtronic from January 2015 through August 2019. From 2008 until its acquisition by Medtronic in 2015, Dr. Tarnoff served as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at Covidien plc.
