“It is with a very heavy heart that we share such a difficult post with our community. For over 23 years, the daily operations of the Avon Town Court were handled by Clerk Lori Medlen. Sadly, Lori passed away earlier this
month, leaving behind her beautiful family and many heartbroken friends.
Despite the often tense and frustrating circumstances of helping people resolve their pending cases, Lori was always known for being kind, patient, and compassionate to all. Lori and her family regularly supported our agency and officers, including volunteering their time every year for our annual Night Out Against Crime event.
Lori certainly loved her family and friends fiercely and while we are heartbroken over her passing, we choose to honor her and support her family in any way we can. We will continue to find ways to honor her character and service and on days like today, we embrace what Lori enjoyed most, a warm sunny day!
Please keep the Medlen family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, Avon. May God bless the Medlen family.” AvonIndianaPolice Penned down a heartfelt tributes.
