Beddington Park was once a medieval deer park belonging to the well-connected Carew family. Carews lived at the park for 500 years from 1351 and their Tudor home, Carew Manor, still stands on the edge of the park. Undergoing a £3.7 million Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery Fund restoration, the park has sports pitches, barbecue stands, an outdoor gym a children’s playground, and also boasts The Grange, a popular restaurant, bar and wedding venue.
