The most common triggers for flushing have been highlighted by rosacea suffers as spicy foods and hot drinks. Try to avoid foods that release histamine, these include; tomatoes, spinach, cheese, chocolate, citrus fruits, avocado and yoghurt. If you find these foods unavoidable at times it has been advised to take an antihistamine a couple of hours before eating.
