It was at these 2 venues over a time of years the men targeted their young ladies’ customers, spiking their drinks and then often se*ually assaulting or raping them.

Both brothers eased the plan and set on drugging many young ladies to assault and violate them. Many of it happened in the bar and in the toilets, sometimes the females were taken to nearby Venuti when it was closed and sometimes it happened at Roberto’s home.

There were eventually 126 charges against the 3 men from dozens of accusers including their own staff.

Danny And Roberto Jazz Founded Guilty

On Thursday, 25 May 2023, the men at the center of the Mama Hooch drink-spiking and assault case can finally be named – almost 5 years after their initial arrests.

The older of the siblings Danny Jaz pleaded guilty to 21 s*x charges and he was found guilty on a raft of others.

The younger sibling Roberto denied all of the charges against him but later he was found guilty after a long trial in the Christchurch District Court.
