Jesse Tapia Motorcycle Accident; On Wednesday, Jesse Tapia, 38, died in a tragic motorbike accident in Ventura, California. Jesse Tapia was declared dead in the collision that occurred late on Wednesday on Highway 33 north of Ojai, according to the CHP. Officers from law enforcement agencies were sent to the area near Matilija Hot Springs Road in response to a complaint of a motorcycle falling.

Reports from the California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire Department indicate that the event happened just before 4 p.m. close to the Camino Cielo crossing.

The reporting party, according to county fire captain Brian McGrath, was a witness who reported seeing someone unconscious next to a motorcycle. The dispatch data indicate that a medical emergency was the reason for the call.

According to CHP investigations, the rider, a 38-year-old man from Ventura, died in the solo vehicle crash. He was traveling south on the 33 at the time in a 2014 Harley-Davidson, according to a press release.

A cyclist had fallen in the lanes, according to a 911 caller, and a helpful bystander had stopped and was performing CPR. The CHP reports that at 4:14 p.m., Ventura County firefighters and Gold Coast medical personnel declared the cyclist deceased.

He raced off the highway onto a gravel turnout close to Camino Cielo after failing to handle a road turn, according to the preliminary probe.
