Jason Statham Palestine video is fake

In the viral video, a bald man is walking around his black SUV sticking a huge Palestinian flag onto the bonnet.

The flag of Palestine is tricolor with three equal horizontal stripes in black, white and green overlaid by a red triangle.

It’s derived from the Pan-Arab colors and is used to represent the State of Palestine and the Palestinian people.

The caption says: “Hollywood actor Jason Statham challenges the police and installs the Palestinian flag on his car.”

However, the clip isn’t actually of The Meg actor at all. It’s a random man who was filmed at the Moo Moo Express car wash in Ohio.

Viral flag clip fools Twitter users

The fake video was shared by numerous different accounts on Tuesday (October 24) and fooled many on Twitter.

One person wrote: “What a great man.”

“What a legend,” said another.

A third person added: “My new favorite actor.”

“Salute to Jason Statham,” someone else said.

It was originally shared on TikTok earlier this week by a woman in Ohio whose video has had more than 3.2 million views.

“He made sure to wash his car first,” she wrote in the caption alongside the hashtag “#freepalestine”.

In the comments, people began saying the man looks like Jason Statham and the fake news quickly spread across social media.

Israel-Hamas war continues

As the Israel-Hamas war continues, the humanitarian crisis is worsening for those in Gaza and hospitals are now ceasing to function.

Health supplies are running out and there are still thousands of patients with traumatic wounds. The death toll has now passed 5,000.

The Israel Defense Forces said the military will not allow any fuel to enter the area as Hamas needs it for infrastructure.

However, the situation will sadly continue to worsen as Israel is still bombing the Palestinian militant group.

“We stand before the next stage, it is coming,” Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Israel Defense Forces.

“We have only one mission – to smash Hamas. We will not stop until we complete it, with your help. I rely on you; the people of Israel rely on you. I am proud of you and I salute you.”
