Jason Crawley Obituary-Death News; Fort Worth, Texas, Freese and Nichols Associate, Passed Away at The Age Of 40
Freese and Nichols Associate Jason Crawley has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 28th September 2023 leaving family and friends devastated at the age of 40. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads “We mourn the loss of our friend and colleague Jason Crawley, who died unexpectedly.
A Freese and Nichols Associate and water/wastewater treatment engineer, he assisted our clients with complex projects and helped oversee the construction of facilities”. The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of Jason Crawley’s death has not been known.
Jason made a contribution to academia by serving as an adjunct professor for the Master of Environmental Engineering capstone course at Texas Tech University. He graduated from Tech with both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree.
He was certified as a construction manager and has professional engineering licenses in Texas and North Carolina. He also volunteered his time to judge the WEAT Operations Challenge Competition, and most recently, he was appointed chief safety competition judge for the National Operations Challenge Competition of the Water Environment Federation.
He developed a strong national reputation among WEF leadership and plant operators across the United States, and his reputation spread beyond our boundaries. Early in his career, Jason oversaw the Young Professionals Committee and presided over the Water Environment Association of Texas Student Design Competition. He also represented the YPs on the WEAT Board.
