Jason Bradberry Obituary: The Houston County Fire Department is mourning the passing of one of its firefighters. Jason Bradberry was declared dead by those affected by his passing. He died yesterday afternoon, September 6, 2023, at his residence in Macon, Georgia, and was not on duty at the time.
“It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Firefighter Jason Bradberry. Jason passed away yesterday afternoon at his residence in Macon, GA. He was not on duty at the time.
Jason came to the Houston County Fire Department in April of this year after spending three years with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department. All who came into contact with Jason adored him and his true passion for helping others. Heaven has gained an amazing soul and we are all better for knowing him. Arrangements are currently being made and, with his family’s permission, we will release more information in the days ahead. We ask that you please keep Jason’s family as well as the Houston County and Macon-Bibb County Fire Departments in your prayers during this difficult time.”
