Shooting in Troutman North Carolina
Around 7:45 pm on Wednesday 13th April 2022, a shooting took place at DaBaby’s house which left the individual suffering from non-fatal gunshot injuries, the Troutman Police Department confirmed.
Mail Online states that the trespasser was shot near the football field at the artist’s mansion and the harmed individual was then transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment.
Police claimed that this event was “an isolated incident” and that “there is no threat to the community at large.”
Speaking to The Associated Press, Troutman Police Chief Josh Watson wouldn’t say who was shot or who did the shooting, citing an ongoing investigation, but he said the injuries of the unidentified wounded person were not life-threatening.
Over on Instagram, @dababy reshared @theshaderoom‘s post onto his story, relating to the incident, and added the following text:
“Media telling n***** business be the main reason n***** get fye put on em.”
Inside DaBaby’s $2.3m house
30-year-old DaBaby’s home is reportedly located 25 miles north of Charlotte, a City in North Carolina, on a quiet, two-lane street.
Spread out over 11,241 square feet on an 8.94 acre lot, Mail Online reports that the property is valued at nearly $2.3 million.
The compound has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a swimming pool and a football field with stadium floodlights.

More problems on the property
Mail Online also reports that Iredell County services have been called to DaBaby’s address 31 times within a year after he is thought to have moved in December 2019.
These instances apparently include 14 times the burglar alarm has gone off, four noise complaints and at least two domestic arguments.
Reports of neighbours complaining about construction at DaBaby’s estate are also said to have occurred, involving concerns about new guard towers along with a concrete wall and what they refer to as “bright stadium-style lights.”
