1. Lock the Record Button on Snapchat
A relatively easier method of recording hands-free video on Snapchat is to use the lock feature, which allows you to lock the shutter button in recording mode, eliminating the need to manually hold down.
Here’s how it works:
- Open the Snapchat camera, tap and hold the shutter button as usual to record a video. You’ll notice a lock icon appear next to the shutter button.
- Hold and drag the record button to the left, towards the lock icon to lock.
Once the record button is locked, you will notice that the recording will automatically resume without you having to hold your finger.
