How to buy Nevermore Academy jacket and Wednesday uniform

Wednesday took no time at all to be declared one of the biggest streaming success stories of 2022. Variety reports that it has actually beaten Stranger Things season 4’s record for most hours viewed in a week with a grand total of 341 Million. Needless to say, Netflix has knocked it out of the park with the coming-of-age horror comedy series.

Co-created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Tim Burton also tackled the dual role of executive producer and director of the first four episodes, bringing the titular Addams Family teenager to life like never before.

Jenna Ortega‘s portrayal has been championed endlessly since the series premiered in November, and her first year at Nevermore – the school her parents also attended – has provided audiences with an exciting new obsession.

With all obsessions, viewers will be keen to get more involved with the fandom, and what better way to do that for Wednesday than sporting a Nevermore Academy jacket?

How to buy Nevermore Academy jacket

You can find two versions of the Nevermore Academy uniform on the Netflix official merchandise store and both uniforms are complete with variations of the blazer jackets that feature in Wednesday.

While the jackets cannot be purchased separately, the uniforms come with a skirt and top with an attached collar to complete the full Nevermore look.

The first uniform is the black one worn by Wednesday herself and this costs $52.00, whereas the blue, striped Nevermore uniform – as worn by Wednesday’s roommate Enid and others – is also available for $52.00.

These are adult sizes but children’s sizes are available for both and priced at $42.00.

The Netflix store is available in a number of territories, so those outside of the US and in the UK and elsewhere can also purchase.

‘There are lots of Easter eggs’

Speaking of Nevermore, Wednesday co-creator Miles previously spoke to Entertainment Weekly about sculpting the detailed world of the school:

“There are lots of Easter eggs and lots of detail. At one point, we had 30 different artists making different statues and gargoyles and elements. So in the quad, we have eight beautifully rendered gargoyles. And if you look at the arches, they’re actually designed as almost open mouth monsters in terms of the jaws.”

He continued: “So much detail and so much thought has gone into every aspect of every set in terms of the color choices, the Easter eggs and also the sense of aging as well, really making sure that everything felt that it had been there for centuries. Nothing should feel new. Nothing should feel like it’s store-bought.”

Miles says that “it all has to have a patina of age,” and we’re sure that’s an element audiences appreciated no end when indulging in the installments.
