Greg Copeland Biography

Greg Copeland is an American journalist working at KING 5 as an anchor and news reporter since joining in March 2008. 8 years before joining KING 5 station, he was hired by NWCN as a co-anchor where he used to work alongside Cam Johnson. On the other hand, he also worked for TEGNA as a reporter and anchor since 1996.

Copeland started his journalism career in September 1996, working for Northwest Cable News, which was his first job. He later relocated to the Seattle region to work as a weekend reporter and anchor. After one year in Boise and two years in Portland, I was ready to move on.

Later, he was hired as a co-anchor by NWCN, where he worked alongside Cam Johnson. He spent his ninth year there. After eight years, he returned to KING 5. He was the anchor of the News at Noon when he first arrived. He is now working as an anchor as well as a news reporter at KING 5 News and also serves the same roles at TEGNA News.
