After a lot of drama about who will and will not be at the 68th Annual Filmfare Awards, the ceremony came to a grand conclusion in Mumbai on Thursday night, and the winners proudly posed with Black Lady (cup) in hand.
Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Janhvi Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Vicky Kaushal and others walked the red carpet to start the night in style. Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul were all presenters for the event. The best part of The Starry Night is when Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez dance. The award ceremony was held at the Jio World Convention Center in Bkc, Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt won Best Actress (Female) and her film Gangubai Kathiawadi was named best film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali completed the review and received the best director award.
Badhaai Do won the Critics’ Choice Award for Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao and Sheeba Chaddha, and the social comedy was also named Best Film by Critics.
Although Kartik Aaryan’s film Bhool Bhulaiya 2 was a big hit, it didn’t win any awards. Instead, Tabu won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress. A nice surprise is that Sanjay Mishra won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor for the well-reviewed film Vadh, which also stars Neena Gupta.

However, it did win Best Music Album. Amitabh Bhattacharya won Best Lyrics for the song “Kesariya” in the film, and Arijit Singh won Best Cover Singer (Male) for the same theme.
Ankush Gedam won Best Actor (Male) from Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund, and Andrea Kevichüsa won Best Actor (Female) from Amitabh Bachchan’s Anek. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Prem Chopra, who has a long history of acting.
Salman Khan, Maniesh Paul and Ayushmann Khurrana hosted the Gala.
At 9 pm on April 28, 2023, the film will be screened simultaneously on Colors and Jio Cinema.
