Rapper FBG Duck’s mom started an OnlyFans in January and she’s just opened up about her staggering earnings.
The London-based subscription service allows people to pay for someone else’s content and it’s become synonymous with explicit material.
FBG Duck, whose real name is Carlton Weekly, was shot and killed in Chicago in August 2020 whilst shopping with friends.
Five members of the O-Block street gang were charged with murder in aid of racketeering and federal firearm violations and assaults in aid of racketeering, NBC reports.
Since his tragic death, the musician’s mother Lasheena has found fame online, and she’s apparently making quite a lot on OnlyFans…
FBG Duck’s mom claims she made $35k on OnlyFans
Lasheena appeared on the Say Cheese YouTube channel this week and delved into her earnings on the subscription site.
She goes by the name Mama Duck on OnlyFans and claimed she made $35,000 in just one week on the site which will help her take care of her family.
“I don’t wanna be tooting my horn but 35 in a week.” she said while dancing. “I wish I would’ve thought about this years ago.”
The host asked her to repeat “how much?” and she shouted “$35k” before slamming the negative opinions and people who “judged” her.
Lasheena boasts 30,000 followers on Instagram and also has a YouTube channel where she has 40,000 subscribers.
Mama Duck’s ‘proof’ of earnings say otherwise
Following the podcast, the rapper’s mother took to Instagram to share ‘proof’ of her earnings, and it appears as though her claims were a little exaggerated.
She posted a screenshot from OnlyFans on her Story that reveals she made $24,618.80 from January 1 to February 21.
That’s a little far from the whopping $35k in a week she claimed in the YouTube video, but it’s still almost $25,000 in under 60 days.
This comes just weeks after OnlyFans model Rebecca Goodwin hit headlines for investing her earnings into an affordable housing scheme.
The 28-year-old from Derbyshire, England, makes $100,000 a month and wants to purchase eight houses outright to rent to low-income families.
Three years since FBG Duck’s death
It’s almost been three years since the musician was killed in a drive-by shooting in the upmarket Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago.
Born and raised in Chicago’s Southside, he began his rapping career at a young age and released a number of hit tracks including Slide, Expose Me, Young & Living, and Let’s Talk.
The 26-year-old was shot in broad daylight outside a store. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
However, the rapper was pronounced dead. Two others were also shot and wounded by the gunmen who pulled up in a car.
This month alone, San Diego-based rapper Alo Bandz and South African star AKA have both been killed in shootings.
