They shared a video featuring the hippie content creator singing about “collective consciousness,” “law of attraction,” and “affirmations.” The tweet quickly went viral, amassing nearly two million views.

Another Twitter user, @dad_nrg, stated with certainty that Shanin Blake had indeed died, citing mutual friends as their source of information.

As word of these rumors spread, concern grew among netizens. Twitter user @Louise_A_Allen reached out to the online community, seeking confirmation of Blake’s status.

Shanin Blake is also known by her online alias, Sunshine999, and has gained significant popularity since 2020 for her hippie and naturalistic aesthetic. She is best known for her music, having uploaded her first song on YouTube, titled “Bag of Hammers,” in 2013. Over the years, she has released several other tracks, including “The Game,” and even an album titled “Soul Child,” amassing a substantial following of 23.8K subscribers on the video-sharing platform.

Despite her considerable online presence, with 393K followers on Instagram, Blake has also faced criticism. Some netizens have accused her of cultural appropriation due to her occasional sporting of dreadlocks, while others have expressed reservations about her music, claiming it imitates the style of Black artists.

Meanwhile, the circumstances surrounding Leon Reece’s death at the Burning Man festival continue to raise questions. The Perishing County sheriff’s office announced that the 32-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, though the cause of death remains undisclosed as of this report.

As festival-goers are granted permission to leave the event, the burning of “The Man” is scheduled for 8 PM today.
