Emily Ludwig has been identified as victim of 1-44 crash in Eureka, report shows that a loose tire went through Missouri woman Emily Ludwig’s car and hit her in the head.
The loose tire hit the window of Emily Ludwig’s Kia Sorento as she was driving on Interstate 44 in St. Louis County,
Ludwig was reportedly driving to Six Flags to meet up with friends when the fatal crash happened. Eureka Deputy Fire Chief Scott Barthelmass said that the tire fell off the back of a trailer going the other way on the highway before it hit the car.
A GoFundMe page was set up by Ludwig’s friend Kelley Moulton says that the tire hit him in the head and caused “catastrophic damage” to his brain. KSDK said that Ludwig was taken to a nearby hospital, but she died there six days later.
Ludwig was able to give five people in need her heart, lungs, liver, and both of her kidneys. This gave them “a second chance at life,” as Moulton wrote in an update to the GoFundMe page on Monday. The pancreas of Ludwig was also given to the study.
. Emily promised to help her clients live a full life, and when she died, she also gave to five people without expecting anything in return.She also said, “Um, we’re so proud of you.
Lugwig will be greatly missed by her loved ones and family. May they be strengthened to bear the lost. May her soul rest in p;eace.
