How to Use the Waterfowl Dance Ash of War in Elden Ring
In order for players to properly use the Hand of Malenia, they will need to have 16 Strength Stat and 48 Dexterity Stat. The Hand of Malenia scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity. It is a very good weapon for Dexterity Builds and Bleed Builds. The Ash of War that comes with the Hand of Malenia is unique, which makes the player unable to switch or change the Hand of Malenia’s Ash of War or Weapon Skill.
The Ash of War is the Waterfowl Dance, It is a series of combo slashes that makes the player leap on one foot, carrying a forward momentum to complete 2 sets of combos. It is a direct copy of Malenia’s Moveset in Elden Ring, Which is also called the Waterfowl Dance. The Hand of Malenia’s regular attacks, 1-handed, is a light attack combo in a series of 5 slashes and a heavy attack combo of a piercing thrust to a horizontal slash.
The 2-handed combos follow the same for the light attacks but change on the heavy attack. The player will now do a strong downward slash to an upward slash, a set of 2 strong slashes. For sprinting attacks, players will do a forward slash or a piercing thrust. And players can do a roll-in quick attack with the dodge button.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
