Devyn Reiley, a brilliant New Braunfels, Texas, citizen who excelled as a pilot and had a profound influence on female aviators all around the world, soared beyond the heavens. Her love of aviation and commitment to her craft shone brightly at the Texas Warbird Museum, where she found her home after earning a BA in English from Thomas Edison State University.
But Devyn was more than simply a pilot; she also touched the lives of countless people with her contagious laughter, courageous excitement, and unfailing kindness. She had a remarkable talent for making everyone feel at ease, whether she was soaring through the skies or telling enthralling tales.

What Actually happened?
A helicopter and a gyrocopter collided at 12:24 p.m. on the south end of the EAA AirVenture flightline at Wittman Regional Airport, resulting in tragedy.
The ELA Eclipse 10 gyrocopter and the Rotorway 162F helicopter belonged to event attendees and were not a part of the air show. Unfortunately, this unplanned event would have terrible repercussions for those concerned.
