David Peter Maxwell serves as Managing Director, Executive Director of the Company. Mr Maxwell is a leading oil and gas industry executive with more than 25 years in senior executive roles with companies such as BG Group, Woodside Petroleum Limited and Santos Limited. Mr. Maxwell has very successfully led many large commercial, marketing and business development projects. Prior to joining Cooper Energy Mr Maxwell worked with the BG Group, where he was responsible for all commercial, exploration, business development, strategy and marketing activities in Australia and led BG Group’s entry into Australia and Asia including a number of material acquisitions. Mr Maxwell has served on a number of industry association boards, government advisory groups and public company boards.
