We are saddened to inform you that Cyndi Cook, a resident of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on January 1, 2024. She was 71 years old. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends. Her grandparents, William P. Edwards and Ruth Welborn Edwards, as well as her grandson, Charles Matthew Schumpert, passed away before she did. She is survived by her husband Randy Cook, her children John Cook (and his wife Amber), Brad Cook, and Loree Cook Emanuel (and her husband Brandy Baker), her grandchildren Jon Michael Montgomery, Elizabeth Dwyer (and her husband Tom), Kaycee Cook, Brittany Cook, and Bella Kiffmeyer, her brothers Eddy Byerly (and his wife Linda), Van Edwards (and his wife Jan), Bill Edwards (and his wife Desiree), Danny Edwards (and his wife Gail), and Randy Edwards (and his wife Teresa), and her sisters-in-law Pam Boling, Wanda Hayes, Brenda Hyatt, and Angie Cook. In addition, she leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled to take place at the Burgess Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral home is located at 1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, South Carolina 29720. On Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at three o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a celebration of life conducted at the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home, which is located at 1800 Charlotte Hwy, Lancaster, South Carolina 29720.
