A multitude of changes and additions came with the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion, including a ton of new items and gear for players to enjoy. Toys, mounts, and lots of weapons, armor, and trinkets have all been added to WoW with this expansion, and it’s hard to break it down into a small grouping. Some of these items provide bonuses and high item levels, while others such as toys and mounts may simply provide a player with some extra merriment.
The new WoW Dragonflight professions system revamp has brought changes to how players perceive many of the items in the game now that some crafted items can be as impressive as those looted from raids. Although, there are still some pretty incredible raid drops and even high-quality gear that can be purchased using PvP rewards. Developers for the Dragonflight expansion seemingly wanted to make the game more equal for people who utilize varying types of gaming styles, and it shows in the variety of ways to obtain excellent items.
Dragonflight’s Best Items Range From Shuffling Sands To The Elemental Lariat
What defines “best” is different for everyone. One of the most enjoyably talked about new items right now in Dragonflight is the Shuffling Sands toy. Purchased from Usodormu near The Temporal Conflux in Thaldraszus, this toy has been a hit with players as it makes a character dance in epic fashion. However, for those who define “best” as high-level gear to help them complete Dragonflight world quests or raids more effectively, the Elemental Lariat is currently the best neckwear in the game. Amazing mounts, toys, and gear of all kinds top the list of best items in Dragonflight.
The Elemental Lariat Is The Best In Slot For All WoW Classes
The most in-demand item of the expansion currently is the Elemental Lariat. This amulet with an item level of 350 is the best-in-slot for all classes with a 287-point increase to Stamina, a prismatic socket, and the equipped power to give spells and abilities a chance to empower a socketed elemental gem. It is made using max-level Jewelcrafting after finding the recipe which can drop from the Season One Primal Storms event, which means that, unfortunately, this coveted item is not easy to come by.

Dragonflight doesn’t have as many secret mounts as other expansions have had, but it does have Otto. This adorable blue otter is one of WoW’s best mounts for fashionistas. If the player’s character puts on sunglasses that are obtained in the same questline as the mount, Otto will wear sunglasses as well. To get Otto, a player has to do a lot of grinding and jumping through several hoops with the Iskaara Tuskarr and fishing quests, but the end result is well worth it.
Healers Can Benefit From The Assembly Preserver’s Band in Dragonflight
World of Warcraft healers will all want to get the Assembly Preserver’s Band. This ring can be purchased from Steiz at the Cobalt Assembly in The Azure Span for just over 265 gold, but it won’t be available until the player has reached high reputation with the Cobalt Assembly. Once equipped, healing spells will have a chance to restore an additional 38,339 health to allies in addition to providing its wearer with an increase to Stamina, Critical Strike, and Haste.
The Crimson Gladiator’s Badge Of Ferocity Signifies WoW PvP Prowess
The Crimson Gladiator sets are part of Dragonflight‘s PvP Season 1 rewards and each piece not only has a flaming look that is to be coveted, but provides high stats for players who are able to earn them. The Crimson Gladiator’s Badge of Ferocity is particularly useful. This trinket has an item level of 382, gives a large increase to Critical Strike, two prismatic sockets, and increases the primary stat by 871 for 15 seconds. When combined with the Gladiator’s Distinction set, the benefits are increased.

With the changes Dragonflight introduced to the Professions system, there are now accessories and tools specifically designed to provide bonuses for Professions. Among these are some items with impressive bonuses, such as the Khaz’gorite Fisherfiend which adds +90 Perception and +15 Fishing. An Expert Alchemist’s Hat adds +43 Inspiration, +29 Multicraft, and +6 Alchemy. Or there is the Chef’s Splendid Rolling Pin which adds +36 Resourcefulness, +54 Crafting Speed, and +6 Cooking. World of Warcraft Professions can benefit greatly with some of these equipped.
WoW Engineers Can Save The Day With S.A.V.I.O.R.
Engineers are the heroes when it comes to this consumable item. The S.A.V.I.O.R. is a friendly little one-time-use robot that can revive fallen party or raid members. An improvement to the Failure Detection Pylon, S.A.V.I.O.R. helps Dragonflight players when all hope seems lost during a wipe. Plus, it provides encouraging moral support as allies fall. It is difficult to create, however, requiring a high level of Engineering. It can also vary depending on the item quality once created, but even at its lowest quality tier, it provides useful support.
There are many, many more items that have been added to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight which can be significant to helping players reach their characters’ full potential in battle or just put a smile on everyone’s faces. Some of the best items can be from Dragonflight‘s renown rewards with the different factions on the Dragon Isles as well. One of the fun things with a game as large as WoW is the sheer number of items available, and Dragonflight added many for players to enjoy uncovering.
