Bachelor In Paradise season 9 is returning this September, and will show former The Bachelorette couple Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes reuniting on the beach. The popular spinoff includes previous contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette who are looking for another chance to find love. On the show, the contestants can meet one another and form new, unexpected connections, while going on dates and living under the same roof.
In the Bachelor In Paradise season 9 trailer posted by Bachelor Nation on ABC on YouTube, The Bachelorette season 17 lead Katie comes face-to-face with her final choice, Blake, for the first time since their breakup. Blake originally starred on The Bachelorette season 16 with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams, but came back on Katie’s season, hoping to win her heart.
When Katie comes down the stairs to Paradise to greet host Jesse Palmer, she admits, “I don’t think Blake’s gonna be happy that I’m here.” Blake then turns his face away when he sees her enter, but the exes end up having a one-on-one conversation immediately. “I don’t think there’s a worse scenario,” Blake says upon Katie’s arrival.

Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 Will Include Wedding & Medical Emergency
Like previous seasons, Bachelor In Paradise season 9 will be packed with drama. Samantha Jeffries from The Bachelor season 26 with Clayton Echard goes through a medical emergency in Paradise. She reveals that she hasn’t pooped in days, leading to her consulting with a doctor about possibly having to get it out surgically. There will also be a wedding in Paradise, and Jesse’s voice can be heard saying, “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” However, the faces of the lucky Bachelor In Paradise couple aren’t shown in the trailer.
Bachelor In Paradise can be a more enjoyable show to watch than The Bachelor or The Bachelorette because the contestants are able to develop different kinds of connections with one another. Instead of multiple contestants fighting for one person’s heart, the contestants have almost an equal amount of partners to choose from between men and women. Bachelor In Paradise has a much higher success rate, which is why couples like Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert and Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are still together after the show.
The much-anticipated new season of Bachelor In Paradise will live up to the hype by bringing more drama than ever. With former Bachelorettes like Katie and Rachel Recchia coming to Paradise hoping to find the one, viewers will be able to see their stories continue on another show in The Bachelor franchise. Hopefully, Bachelor In Paradise season 9 will feature long-lasting romances, engagements, and plenty of drama to keep viewers interested in watching.
