We are deeply saddened to report the sudden death of Angel Gjuraj, a beloved son, friend, and student. Angel died quietly on Monday, November 13, 2023, in Mooresville, North Carolina. He was only 18 at the time.
Angel was born on March 2, 2005, in Stamford, Connecticut, to Peter and Alida Lleshaj Gjuraj. Angel was adored by everyone who knew him as a child. He was a joy to be around because of his colorful personality and loving heart.
Angel, who graduated from Brawley High School in Mooresville, NC, was noted for his dedication to his studies and enthusiasm to serve others. His death creates an unfillable vacuum in the community.
Visitation will be held at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT, on Saturday, November 18th, from 4-9pm, and Sunday, November 19th, from 2-9pm, to remember Angel’s life and legacy. We encourage family, friends, and well-wishers to join us in remembering Angel and his effect on our lives.
Funeral services and interment will be held at Our Lady of Shkodra Albanian Church, 361 W Hartsdale Ave., Hartsdale, NY 10530, on Monday, November 20th, at 11 a.m. This tragic occasion will bring us together in sorrow, recollection, and celebration of Angel’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the Gjuraj family begs that donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Angel Gjuraj’s memory.
This is a lovely homage to Angel’s cousin, Ava, who is a childhood ocular cancer survivor. Your contributions will help the hospital’s objective to advance cures and prevention methods for children catastrophic diseases.
While we grieve Angel Gjuraj’s death, we also celebrate his life, the love he offered, and the impact he made on those around him. Though his time with us was brief, the memories he produced will be treasured for the rest of our lives. May his spirit find peace.
