Andrew Lee A Radio Host Of Twin City Passed Away

Andrew Lee, a popular broadcaster, passed away on June 25, 2022. On Monday, June 27, his iHeartMedia Minneapolis colleagues and co-host Jon Justice announced the news. . . Lee and Justice rose to prominence as hosts of Justice And Drew on Twin Cities News Talk. While there is currently no information regarding his death, additional information is likely to be released soon. In a blog post, radio station KLTK paid tribute to him, saying,

“We have been informed, with great regret and a heavy heart, of the death of our friend and colleague Andrew Lee on Saturday, June 25. Join us at Twin Cities News Talk and iHeartMedia Minneapolis to send our thoughts and prayers to Drew’s wife and two children.”

When was Andrew Lee’s death announced?

Lee’s death was announced by co-host Jon Justice on Monday, June 27. Justice was recovering from open-heart surgery at the University of Minnesota hospital at the time of announcement. Justice commented that this was the hardest thing he has ever done in his radio career and that Lee’s wife was with him when he passed away. He said he asked to be the one making the public announcement. He continued:

“My best friend is Drew. I don’t need to tell you how great he is as your friend. Needless to say I am heartbroken, and he will be deeply missed. Everyone at iHeart is in mourning. We ask for your prayers for the Drew family at this difficult time.”
